New Marina Manager

Kathy Lammers

The Trent Port Marina has a new manager.

The City of Quinte West is pleased to announce that Kathy Lammers has been hired as the Manager of Marinas and Waterfront Facilities, to replace outgoing manager Craig Carter. Carter had served as manager since the Marina opened in 2015 and has graciously agreed to stay on as Harbourmaster for the 2018 boating season to help with the transition.

Lammers has extensive marine industry experience, most recently serving as Chairman of the Regatta Organizing Committee for Antigua Sailing Week and President of the Caribbean Sailing Association.  Lammers will be responsible for the management of the 374-slip marina and fuelling station. Her duties will range from managing Marina personnel and budgeting, to helping market the new facilities to increase tourism in Quinte West.

“Trent Port Marina is a beautiful facility with a great reputation and I’m looking forward to building on the success that has been achieved so far,” says Lammers. “I want to contribute to the Marina reaching its fullest potential. It’s a beautiful place and a great asset to the community.”

“We are looking forward to Kathy taking our Marina to the next level while still providing Boaters of all ages and types with the experience they have become accustomed to at the Trent Port Marina,” Says Mayor, Jim Harrison. “We look forward to seeing the Marina flourish under Kathy’s guidance.”
